Appointments Post

This post here is for personal conversations which should happen but one or both of us doesn't want to put up a new post/log and thus we will just thread it out here. This can be used to thread with Masaomi anytime and anywhere. This can either be in person (with action), or via the journal's call feature (voice and/or written).

It did. [She'll stand for inspection. That is until she spots Asami's green ones.]

You have them too! [She points.]

[That gives her. Enough pause to try to reach behind or look behind her. Her hair gets in the way of the looking, but when she contorts to a weird angle, she can feel...

[Jinora will be moving around behind Asami to see her wings.]

They're green. [She'll reach up to poke Asami's wings. Are these what's on her back too?]

[And her wings recoil. she does too. Wow, that... didn't hurt per se but it felt totally weird. And as for Jinora's wings -

"Children have softer, downy feathers, more fluffy and numerous, but shorter. Around puberty (roughly age 11-15) these feathers are exchanged for longer, stronger, and more silk-like feathers.

Anyway, Asami looks at Jinora again] Yours are cream colored... and fluffy.

[Jinora draws back at Asami's recoil. They certainly don't look fake. Didn't feel so either.

She'll reach back to touch hers again, as they twitch. They're so soft.]

They kind of feel like Oogi's fur. [There's a little bit of awe in her voice]

[Awe is one thing, but she's increasingly unsettled. She looks down the beach- it's bright out here, so she can see pretty far... it looks like there's some - something further down the beach.

On a beach, really.]

I don't think we're anywhere near the south pole.

[She looks around, it's so bright here. Such a contrast to the southern water tribe lands.]

Could we be back at Republic city?

I don't see how we could be, particularly without your parents.

[...Frown. There's only them in direct sight]

...that's true and I don't remember getting on Oogi to leave. [Unless they left while she was asleep. But then that doesn't explain Asami not knowing.]

Maybe we should see if we can find anything. [Or anyone else]

And be on guard. [Sure Amon was defeated, but if they're... so out of place as this, it might be some other branch of Equalists at play] This way?

[Because she thought she saw movement further down the beach, she takes a step in that direction]

[Yes, and they could be in hiding, waiting to strike. She nods, glancing in the direction. It does look like something that way.]

Let's go. [She'll start that way too, though she keeps an eye out just in case.]

Do you feel okay, other than being sore?

Moving is helping the soreness. You?

[She had spotted the book nearby and picked it up. While waiting she'll check it out a little. It has her name on it, it must be for something, right?]

Yeah, me too--- Jinora is that a book?

[Not that her with a book is unusual, but where did she get the book?]
