[She's sure the people in the Avatar cast could help her with most of these too, but she's imposing enough by having slept in Sokka's room last night (reducing him to the couch) and she needs to figure out a few things here like somewhere else to stay, new wardrobe, her gauntlet, all that stuff.]

Other than that, does anyone like sports? I'm fond of racing and probending, myself.

A little! But it's much cooler, because it uses actual bending.

What kind of bending again?

[He has only the vaguest recollections from general stalking the journals, and nothing beyond that. He does remember that there are water and fire bending though.]

On a probending team you ave one firebender, earthbender, and waterbender each.

And it's a sport?

That's right. Teams of three benders each try to force the other team back through the different zones on the field. A team wins if they win the majority of the rounds by keeping the other team pinned back in their zones, or by knock out: forcing the other team off the edge.

You're good at it, I take it?

Oh no, not at all. I couldn't even play, I'm a nonbender. I'm just a big fan of the sport.

Oh I see. My apologies. Same thing with racing?

Oh no, I race. Racing doesn't have quite the same following as Probending in the city itself, but it's something I can do and I know I'm good at.

What kind of racing is it? Running?

Oh no, no. With Satomobiles! Or any automobile, actually. I could probably do pretty well in a motorcycle or moped race too.

Motorcycle? [Ears flick. Motorcycle racing sounds awesome.]

What's a Satomobile?

It's a brand of automobile. [Eyebrow arc] To be fair, I probably should have said that in the first place, but I defy anyone to race in a Cabbage Car.

All right, pretend my world doesn't have automobiles. [Because it doesn't. His motorcycle is an anomaly as it is.]

Can you describe both of those things differently?

Oh! ...I'm sorry, I just assumed- that was silly of me. [A beat] An automobile's a motorized wheeled vehicle powered by steam or gasoline to move around on land at fast speeds. It's a replacement for things like carriages powered by dragon-moose or ostrich-horse.

What like, petroleum or steam powered ships? For... land?

Automated carriages... [Says it like it's the weirdest idea ever. Ironically he's from Loguetown, with the island of rare animals nearby so he doesn't even question the dragon-moose or ostrich-horse.] I guess that's because your world doesn't have as much ocean?

I don't know how much ocean you world has to compare. We do have a lot of it, but there's plenty between the continents. But there's plenty of land on the continents?

We don't have continents for starters. We just have islands, so I guess that would do it.

No continents at all?

[justicereigns]

None. We have the Red Line which circles around the world, but those are islands that were pushed together during their formation. And the mountains and cliffs make it impractical for most means of transportation.

There's a band of islands which runs along the entire world where you're from? That's so... strange! I guess boats and airships must be super important to people where you're from.
