Can anyone tell me what a "Komodo" is?

[This might seem random in context, and she's frustrated, okay. See, it all started with her going into the library just for something to do (maybe find a book on car construction to figure it out) and then she found some Zoobooks in a box. She started to flip through them and began to recognize... some of these are animals she's never heard of! Actually most of them are. But from an 'alligator' she can figure out what's the part of a catgator that's a 'gator' and not a 'cat' (though it helps she found another book on 'big cats') And she then got to work researching, spending most of her afternoon on it. You can walk in on her doing this.

She's gathered, by the time she breaks for an early dinner (now taking an animal encyclopedia into Seventh Heaven) she the animals she knows (normal ones) are actually split in half-ish on this world called Earth. Thing is, Earth also seems to have some combination animals too. Like tiger sharks. So she's in the process of trying to figure out how certain animals split apart.

The fact she can find "Rhino" (or well, "Rhinoceros" but it seems most people shorthand it to "Rhino" so she hopes that's not a combination animal because she's never haerd of a "ceros") but she can only find a "Komodo Dragon." There's also apparently an island of Komodo but (bah)!!

Run into her in the library, at dinner while flipping through this book, or answer her plea in voice. She might be baffled by some other animals too, the voice is just that one for simplicity.]

I don't know, actually... I've just been reading about animals today and I can't seem to find a picture of one.

That's really weird. Do books normally do that here?

Well... yes, a lot of books don't have pictures, actually. Novels, for example.

We can try and look for a komodo though if that helps? Maybe there's one in Luceti!

But I don't actually know what they look like, so how can we search?

You got a point. We could look through other books and try and find a picture of it?

I've been doing that... which is why I settled for asking. I'm interested, but I don't know if I'm that interested.

Oh, I'm Sora! It's good to meet you too, Asami. Or well as good as talking to a voice can get.

[He'll make a little bit of an embarrassed laugh.]

[Giggle and-] I'm pleased to meet you too... as much as a talking voice in a book can get. There's a little picture though, see? [She tries to wave at the "camera" seeing if it'll get a picture of it when she sends this. Not video, but]

[Sora now see's the picture of said new friend.]

These books can do a lot. I wonder what else they can do.

[Asami will now hear what sounds like a hand hitting paper. Sora's trying to see if he can't stick his hand in the book. It's not working out. He's curious, all right?]

[pfft, giggle] I think I'd rather have a telephone most of the time, but it's convenient to be able to ask questions like this to groups of people.

[A light plucking of her lips later] But if you still wanted to research with me, I am at the library.

I guess it can be. But it doesn't beat seeing people face to face.

[As one can tell Sora can't brain technology well, since he just keysmashes everything. ~~Pun intended.~~]

Sure! Where can I find the library?

Oh, you don't know-? It's one of the buildings right in the center of town.

Not really. I'm sort of new here. But okay, I'll see you in a bit!

[And Sora strolls on over to the library. Takes him about half an hour to find it because, still figuring out where things are. When he arrives at the library he's already looking around for Asami. The picture of her helps locate her easily. No shouting in the library after all. Approaching her the spikey haired teenager smiles.]

Asami, right?

[Wow thirty minutes. That's way a lot of time, but she now contents herself with the fact she ought to wait for Sora. Okay...]

That's right. Hello, Sora.

[She even stands to meet him more properly. Smile, charming, hair brush back. She's also tall-ish for a girl too.

[Does she greet everybody with a whipping her flowing hair?

Though he has to look up at her. He's probably like Korra's height or something. Still grinning he offers a hand to her. Hand shakes are always great.]

Nice to see ya in person, Asami. So, should we get looking?

Mmmhm. [Handshake and she gestures to the encyclopedia on the table behind her... and the box of zoobooks, many of which are open] We can look for other animals too. A lot of things both in Luceti and on Earth are pretty strange to me. Like Squirrels.
